Extended cervical colposcopy

High‑magnification examination of the cervix using a colposcope and special solutions (acetic acid and Lugol’s iodine) to detect erosions, dysplasia and early precancerous changes.

Turnaround: 1 day · Preparation: For 2–3 days before the test: avoid sexual intercourse, douching, tampons, and vaginal products.

Pap test (cervical cytology)

Cytological examination of cervical cells for early detection of precancerous changes and cancer.

Turnaround: 1–2 days · Preparation: For 2 days before: avoid sexual intercourse and vaginal products.

Cervical biopsy

Sampling a small fragment of cervical tissue for histological examination, performed under colposcopic guidance.

Turnaround: 3–5 days · Preparation: For 3 days before: avoid sexual intercourse.

HPV PCR (high‑risk types)

Detection of high‑risk HPV types — the main cause of cervical cancer.

Turnaround: 1–2 days · Preparation: For 2 days before: avoid sexual intercourse.
